Acupressure is an ancient system of healing from China. It is a system that addresses the qi – or life-energy of the body – using specific points along the meridians to open and maintain the flow of energy and encourage physical, emotional and mental balance. The objective of this basic 56-hour course is to give students hands-on experience feeling and working with qi. Students will learn the location of the meridians and points, and how to use them to alleviate common symptoms and promote overall balance and health. This course will prepare students to give basic sessions and incorporate Acupressure into their practice.
