If your goal is to become a professional Massage Therapist, we recommend the 500-hour program. Hours from all courses and electives offered at McKinnon count toward the 500-hour total. 500-Hour Program benefits include complimentary student membership/liability insurance through ABMP, personal instructor feedback, and additional program/career support. If you have completed the 500-Hour Massage Therapist Program and desire the highest level of preparation and distinction, you may continue your education by completing an additional 500 hours of coursework at McKinnon BTC. Through one-on-one meetings with Senior Faculty, you receive additional support to help you reach your goals. Private tutorials and clinic work are required in addition to coursework. Candidates must complete an application and successfully pass an interview process before being accepted into this program. (read more)

Build confidence and improve your craft through weekly practice sessions with McKinnon instructors. Practice sessions are hands-on: be prepared to trade and stay the entire session. Held every Sunday from 6 pm to 9 pm, practice sessions are an opportunity for existing students and alumni to hone their skills and get some valuable, out-of-class practice time. Practice sessions are only open to McKinnon grads and current students. Practice Sessions are free for current students and $10 an evening for former students.
